Review:

The truck was way out in the parking lot. The keys were not in the truck. The instructions made no sense so wound up walking all the way back to the office. Not in a locker either as the instructions said. Went inside..oh, the keys were inside. Why? This was a mobile check in and no mention of needing to go to the counter to get them. Appliance dolly also inside, not in the truck. That thing was heavy and a pain to walk out to the truck. Kid at counter didn't seem to give a darn at all, no apology, just a.who cares attitude. Supposed to be fast check in... took over 35 minutes. Needed a truck with a ramp, had no idea your 10' trucks don't have them. Kind of dumb when the floor is the truck is 2.5 - 3 ft off the ground and people need a truck that big usually for bigger items.

Please ask for Tavian at waukee Uhaul, he is truly a people person and will go beyond and above to help you. That young man deserves to be the manager at that facility and to get a raise for his outstanding customers service.

Review:

1st truck a mile down the road, the engine light came on. took it back and got another truck. the 2nd truck, both mirrors were loose and worthless. I had to tighten with my own allen wrenches to view sides of truck. I worked for Penske and Ruan in my carrer. We would have NEVER let a truck go out in this condition. I got a sense of 'not my problem' with your employees. Probably never again with U Haul. it will be interesting if I here back from anyone.

Review:

Don't add extras that the customer said no to onto the rental. When a client is paying for a rental over the phone, the total being paid should be given to them before running their card. I would have known that something was added on that we didn't want if I'd heard the total.
