U-Haul Moving & Storage of Wausau

I called to confirm my rental last week. I called again today just to be really sure I have my unit ready to go and NO UNIT is available for me. I am scrambling to find storage 4 days before my move. Absolutely awful customer service. Avoid.

My Dad is moving to Florida and contacted Uhaul THREE weeks ago to reserve a 26ft truck and an additional trailer for his Jeep. Today they called and told him (2 days before he has to move) that they didn’t have either of the items reserved and that his only option was to drive to Wisconsin Rapids THEN to Abbotsford, over 160+ miles and spending over 4 hours to go get each item. They couldn’t get driver to drive the truck/trailer with a 3 week notice! Literally ANY place is better than UHAUL on grand Ave. What a joke.

Great staff fast service and drop off service , needed a motorcycle trailer to bring my bike home. Due to it was 9 degrees out lol

Very poor customer service. Very disrespectful and charge you days you didn’t have the truck. Don’t recommend this place
