I am extremely disappointed with my experience at U-Haul due to the unexpected final bill. The quoted rate for the rental was around $40 for the day, but I was charged double because I returned the vehicle just one hour late. This resulted in a full second day's charge.
What’s frustrating is that it’s highly unlikely they could have rented the vehicle out again at that hour, making the second day's charge feel completely unreasonable. This policy feels more like a penalty than a fair practice. Overall, I feel misled and scammed.
I had an amazing experience at U-Haul Moving & Storage of West Allis, and I want to highlight the exceptional professionalism of Lola. Moving is always a stressful time, but Lola made the process so much easier with her calm, knowledgeable, and efficient approach. She handled everything in a timely manner, even pointing out details and offering suggestions that we hadn’t thought of because of the stress of moving.
What truly sets Lola apart is her willingness to go the extra mile — she even offered to help us get our purchased items out to the car, which was such a thoughtful touch. While we were there, another customer came in loudly and rudely barging in front of others. Lola managed to diffuse the situation with incredible composure, redirecting the individual while still giving her full attention to the customers she was helping. Her professionalism, friendliness, and ability to remain polite under pressure were remarkable.
Thanks to Lola, our experience was smooth and pleasant I would rate our experience five stars as She truly knows her stuff and deserves recognition for her outstanding service. This place is horrendous, the employees are horribly unprofessional and the condition of the rentals is less than unsatisfactory. I returned my rental with the gas refilled to where it was and have a picture to prove it and they attempted to charge me $40 for gas and said I did not fill it. Then held me up on the phone for 45 mins and said they would call back and never did. Complete theft and disgusting service. I will be back to get my refund Monday and I will tell everyone about my horrendous experience. Liars and thief’s.
Whenever I arrive at the correct time where they offer their gas services, they never attend to me. Do they make an excuse this time that they didn't have anyone certified? How is that possible? I have been there since 6:30 pm during the service hours of November 21, 2024. Last week the person had left early and taken the keys. This is not a serious company is it? leaves a lot to be desired!!!I am a loyal customer of this gas company with more than a year buying propane gas for my company on a weekly basis. This affects my business since every time I go it is the third time this happens to me and this affects me. Since the workers do not attend if it is 6 pm. I have found myself in the situation of getting up early at my company's schedule in order to be able to go buy propane gas. Because now I'm afraid of going in the afternoon like today and they don't feel like serving us. Please, if you, as managers or owners of this company, do not want to work in the afternoon, simply change your schedule and that's it, the public and we clients adapt, but do not waste other people's time. This doesn't look serious.
