U-Haul Moving & Storage of West Florence

I just called to get some information because I am moving my large unit items to Florence from another state. I feel so sorry for calling, the young lady who answered the phone obviously could be somewhere better and it showed in her lackluster attitude, low tone of voice, and one word responses. If she is that way over the phone, I can only imagine how much I'd annoy her by coming in to pay for a unit and needing help with anything else. Just wow!

Dear U-Haul Management,

I recently visited your Evans St. location in Florence, SC, for a hitch installation on my truck. I scheduled an appointment and dropped off my vehicle on a Tuesday, anticipating the service would be completed within a few days. However, after multiple follow-ups over the next week, I was informed that the truck had not yet been serviced.

Throughout this period, I found the communication lacking and experienced challenges in obtaining clear updates on the status of my vehicle. Additionally, during my interactions, I felt that the customer service could have been more accommodating and respectful. As the titled manager of this location offered me absolutely NO possibilities to get this matter fixed or resolved and in turn, I was given the keys back to my truck.

I hope this feedback assists in improving the customer experience at the Evans St. branch.

Now that I have the vehicle back, I will be attempting to use another one of your stores in Florence. Let’s hope this works out much better for all involved.

I had a very good experience with the very helpful an polite staff here. The General Manager answered all my questions and heled not only me but several other customers while I was there. I am very satisfied with my experience.

Brian was so helpful and efficient. He was courteous and friendly. Will definitely recommend this location to anyone needing to move. It's sales people like him that make the craziness of moving much easier.

My things were stolen from my unit. The manager, Alyssa Bennett, has been giving me the run around for months. She promised me compensation for the value of my items and now will not even take my call! DO NOT DO BUSINESS at the uhaul on West Evans St in Florence, SC!!! They are not honest or trustworthy!
