U-Haul Moving & Storage of Winchester South

I absolutely love this location. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. I think I've used this U-haul location 4-5 times in the past 6 months. My most recent rental experience is not a reflection of this location but U-Haul in general. I rented a van. Received the RAM van with Arizona plates. The equipment was clean and well maintained. The only issue I had was NO AUTOMATIC POWER mirrors. Adjusting the mirrors manually (mainly passenger side mirror) was a pain in the keister. Get out adjust mirror. Get back in driver side, check mirror. Get out again adjust mirror, get back in driver side seat check mirror. Honestly, spend the extra money for AUTOMATIC POWER mirrors for the safety of your customers. Trying to find a place on highway to pull off and adjust mirrors was stressful, annoying and dangerous. Like I said previously, no reflection of the location.

Would give 5 stars but they raised the storage prices & I don't think that was necessary.
Also, they don't clean the areas you drive & I got 3 little nails in my tire... so ride on the incline, not the middle where all the trash/bits go to!!

When I turned the van in, the representative was very helpful. The website had me take the van 25 minutes away from my destination and the agent corrected in the system because this put my miles over. Thank you!

The absolute worst experience, don’t expect your reservation to be correct and most of all don’t expect moving pads or good customer service. The owner Roland has his number plastered everywhere in case of emergency or problems and won’t answer a call or text. All my belongs have to be moved with our pads because they had 12 when I needed 8 dozen. The national UHaul “customer service” line essentially sad sorry, man that’s too bad, it happens sometimes. Avoid this location at all costs.
