U-Haul Moving & Storage on Boca Chica

Waited a long time to be attended, workers were taking their time doing stuff and very poor time management. Once seen, the equipment was not going to be given because they don’t have the electrical trailer wiring, but they said they didn’t have a electrical wire and for me to go buy one and then maybe uhaul can reimburse me. So very huge inconvenience as I was on a time schedule. That is very bad on a business not to have trailers ready for dispatch and have them for customers. Making customers go buy their own electrical wires which is uhaul’s responsibility. Very bad service and experience!! It was a very huge inconvenience, waste of time and waste of gas, because they were not better prepared to assist the customer. They made me loose time, and they couldn’t even compensate me or something for doing their job in a buying the electrical trailer 4 flat wiring. Overall bad experience!!

if you only need a 10' truck don't do it! Get the 15 foot one. It's has a smoother ride, is less rigid and bumpy, and it's just a tad more expensive. Much better value and easier on the items you are going to put in the back! Plus the 10' gate is low- doesn't fit rolling garment racks so....I ended up having to take them apart and put all clothes in storage crates so I had more boxes. Yay!

Horrible service ! They had a leak in our unit and they didn’t bother to tell me and my stuff got ruined and didn’t bother to give me compensation

Very friendly and helpful especially when I needed to change trucks not realizing one I rented didn’t have a ramp. They quickly found a resolution so I could get my furniture delivered on time over 500 mile drive. Thank you
