U-Haul of Baldwin Park

I always come here to fill my propane tank for years, they always have very good price, because I getting older, start last year, the service people always help me put full tank in my car, without I asking. I really appreciate their outstanding service! Help seniors to load tank. I love this U-Haul location and all the service people working there!

All of the staff on duty made the whole process quick and easy. We were greeted by friendly professional staff, all of our questions were answered and they even pulled the truck up to the door for us. I will definitely be renting from this location again. Keep up the good work.

When I arrived to pick up my rental, the two guys there were nice, greeted me I had them adjust my rental time to 2 days instead of 3 days, received my keys. However, when I got into my rental the gas was on empty with the light on, according to the app during the walk through it said 1/4 a tank. I was kind of upset only because I needed to get on the road already so I had told the front end of the issue.

I was told to pay for the gas across the street of $45 and it will be refunded back or deducted from the total. I paid the gas of $45 after finish paying I had got a missed call from the gentlemen who helped me, he then told me I will get a $36 credit off the bill plus when I bring the rental back on Monday I will only be charged the 2 days, and I will be getting $50 off my bill cause they can't do $55 not sure what he was saying because I was already focused on getting back on the road.

Now, I'm ready to return my rental, I was hoping to see the same gentleman that helped me originally so he can better explain as to what my actual cost would be. I had a different guy, I walk in he was on his phone, these days people work from a phone whatever no problem, not sure what was up with this dude it was early morning it wasn't like he worked all day to have an excuse to hate his job. He took my keys and went to check the rental, he came back and just said my total of $108 while still looking at the phone, and again at this point I'm HOPING he is working off his phone, so I ask him if he had any communication with the gentleman who had originally helped me and he said ' ah yeah bro the gas thing right' he printed my receipt handed it to me and said have a good day....

according to my receipt, I just see the gas credit no other discount or credit of what I was told in the first place.

This was my 2nd time here I had a great experience the first time, it is the most rated U-Haul in the area, but the returning of the vehicle really had me upset. The gentleman had said his manager will be there Monday morning and he will be aware of the bill, and I'm hoping the guy I encountered was not him. That final experience, made me to want to take my business somewhere else. I am just starting a catering business and was hoping not to get a bad experience from this location.

I received an email telling me to reach out if I have any questions, so I asked about an extra $15 charge on top of my original contract. A week has gone by now and I didn't get a response.

Good service come early then my appointment they let have the truck and everything was good
