The location and the people at the location were fantastic. Clean, super helpful, etc...
The digital rental experience was abysmal and I will never recommend uhaul to anyone. It seemed clear that uhaul was attempting to trick or cheat me into paying more money that I should. The checkout experience had multiple hidden buttons to decline adds-on that were difficult to find. And then when I returned the car - the return system was trying to force me to pay $27 for gas when I had only traveled 34 miles. The uhaul system knows that I only travelled 34 miles so why are they charging me $27 for gas? And there was no way to adjust this - I had to get the people in the store to help. And finally when I got my receipt it clearly shows that I travelled 34 miles but then I was charged for 50 miles - why?
Combined - these feel like deliberate attempts to mislead and lie to consumers to consistently overcharge. I intend to submit a complaint to the relevant regulatory authorities.
Brandon was so helpful and reliable. My mom who is hard of hearing and has trouble interacting with people found Brandon to be a pleasure to work with. He made our experience so easy! Highly recommend!
Branden is the reason for this 5 star review! He was kind, professional and maintained competent service despite serving 4 customers simultaneously. Uhaul should be very glad to have such a high caliber employee. He should get a raise and a 2 week paid vacation. He is that good. I moved and everything was fine. What more can one want.
