Rented a 6x12 open trailer with ramp.
At my destination, the equipment to be transported was 59 inches(one inch less than 5 feet) wide.
However, despite UHaul advertising this as a 6 foot (72 inches) wide trailer, the rear opening on the trailer is actually only 56 inches (4 inches less than 5 feet) wide. My equipment would not fit through their rear ramp opening.

I returned within the first hour and the UHaul rep stated there was nothing he could do re partial or full refunds. He brought out a manual that showed the trailer dimensions and stated these were posted online.
Upon checking, it was not obvious that instead of 72 inches wide, the rear opening is only 57 inches wide. It is not on their initial page; you have to drill down to find it.
I realize that some of this is customer error; however, it would have been important for UHaul to better show the maximum width that can pass through the rear opening.
6x12 is false advertising if you cant get a 5 foot wide tractor up their ramp.
Also, UHaul management could have offered a partial refund or reduced price coupon to make a customer happy for a future rental.

The trucks are always clean, the additional moving equipment are available, and the staff is always helpful and courteous. They explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions I have afterwards. They make the whole process easy!
