En todas las ocasiones q he recurrido a U-Haul siempre han sido 5 estrellas en todo. Los recomiendo. En esta ocasión quiero agradecer personalmente a Javier q fue quien me atendió por teléfono ya q no tuve la oportunidad de ir personalmente por cuestiones de tiempo fue súper profesional y todo estuvo dispuesto según mis necesidades. First, when I arrived I was greeted wonderfully and I appreciate the customer service by the gentleman that took care of me. This is the only positive side to this review. After finishing the paperwork process I was given keys to a truck that had a dead battery. I was then switched to another truck. Before leaving I was briefed on insurance for the truck but THAT WAS IT.

I left to complete the job that I needed to do. The truck did what it was supposed to do, during the drive I had to pass by a dusty road which was still a little wet from rain we have been receiving all month. When it was time for me to return the truck there was some dirt on the tires/ wheels and by the two front doors due to back splatter from the front two tires. Everything else on the inside of the truck and cabin were cleaned out and had NO DIRT or left over mess.

I dropped off the key to the gentlemen waiting for the return and asked if that was it, he asked if I filled the tank to the requested amount I said yes. He informed me I was good to go. On my way home I then received a notification for a charge on my card. I check the email receipt quickly and received a cleaning fee charge for $100. I was never told before or at arrival about a possible cleaning fee or even if there was one. And $100 fee to clean tires and some portions of the bottom side of the truck is INSANE. If I was briefed about this I would’ve made sure to get this truck professionally detailed maybe even ceramic coat the truck for them, because it looks like they try to find anything possible to CHARGE $100. This was a complete blind sided fee and a sure fire way to lose business in the community fast. What’s the best part is they couldn’t tell me this when I was there and just charged me once they knew I was gone. This is the first and last time I will ever come to this U-HAUL and I will make sure no one I know ever comes by here to use their equipment.
