This is a busy uhaul location. We have used this location many times over the years. This month though we have been working with Ashley for an issue we had with a rental. She went above and beyond in her help and communication. She is super professional, kind and knowledgeable. She deserves a raise! Thank you so much Ashley and William for your help!
Never under any circumstance trust U-Haul.
I’ve moved a lot. Every time I use U-Haul, and at this point, I should just be mad at myself for trusting them. Everytime I’ve ordered a truck, dollys, blankets - whatever the item is- I never get what I ordered. Not one time. The last few times it’s been the dollys. Previously I’ve had to throw out things because I don’t get what I need from U-Haul, but it’s always been things I don’t really care about. But because it’s been a problem, this time I called several times in advance to ensure they had them. I was promised yes every time. Guess what? They didn’t have them or the blankets I ordered and paid for in advance, resulting in my very expensive dresser getting destroyed and thrown out.
It’s not just the lack of equipment, it’s almost like U-Haul as a whole is a scam.
This particular U-Haul has some of the unfriendliest humans I’ve ever met in my life. The one girl was straight up playing on her phone when I walked in. And before I could even say Hi she had a huge attitude and seemed very annoyed just by our presence. Once we mentioned we ordered a truck, she let out this huge annoyed sigh, and turned around because the truck “needed to process the return still”. More people walked in, most ordered trucks, and none of the ones that had been returned were ready, but were at the store. I’m assuming because she was playing on her phone and not actually doing her job judging by the wall of “need to be processed trucks” on the wall, causing a huge back up and line of people.
When she mentioned there were no dollys and I (at first) was very nice and asked - what do you mean? She gave me this entire attitude like - how dare you be mad we sold you something already and we don’t have it. Kept snickering at me. Making faces. She basically antagonized an entire situation, and then just called over the manager to “deal with me”.
So from the poor humans and lack of equipment, go at your own risk. This is not just this U-Haul. It’s every U-Haul.
On top of all this, I was promised a discount for the multiple items that I ordered within 24-48 hours. It’s almost been a week and I haven’t received anything. Why am I not surprised.
Lied and told me I showed up too early for my appointment. Waited 3 hours for a module to be replaced. If a scheduling mistake was made, say that, don’t tell me I showed up early for an appointment time that was emailed to me for confirmation. There’s no management.
I have a reservation for 930am today and have been in the store since. No one at all has come to help and there are about 5 people waiting on line. Last time I rent from this U-Haul
