These guys saved our reservation after no one told us that the truck we were supposed to get was damaged and needed to be repaired. We showed up at another location at our reservation time and was told that we were essentially SOL and had to wait until the next day at 1:30 for a 10ft truck or Sunday for a 15ft, which was our original reservation. Obviously, we were moving and needed it ASAP. The other location told us that there was a truck cancelation and that we could drive to this location to pick it up.

We drove to vestal and initially the owner was confused because there was nothing showing up. We explained what happened, found out the other location never called to check but the owner pulled some strings and bam, we got a truck. Smaller than what we needed but it was something to help!

We will forever be grateful for their help to get us a truck so we could make the deadline of our move, which was Sunday.

Made a reservation for a 5x8 open-air trailer. Received a confirmation for this location. Get here, no trailer for us. Tell us we have to go to a rental yard down the road. Complete and utter incompetence over at uhaul.

WORST experience ever!! I reserved a 15' truck online that said 'guaranteed reservation' and then they switched my reservation to a 10' truck, causing me to spend over $100 more in mileage and gas for the extra trips I had to make due to the smaller truck. Absolutely ridiculous! Complained to customer service and they literally said it wasn't guaranteed. What is the point of having that wording on a reservation if it's not going to be guaranteed?! I did not receive a credit or any kind of consolation for their lack of responsibility. I will NEVER use U-Haul again!!
