U-Haul Self Storage of Spanish Lake

This location claims they do not have gate openers and all customers are using the key pad, but I’ve seen several customers use a gate opener when entering and exiting the premises. On the gate it have a sign that states to get a gate opener visit the Lusher Rd. location, but I was told that they don’t have one and I have to use the code that I was given. This location is not in a safe area I don’t feel safe with getting out of my vehicle to enter a code then have to wait an additional 30 seconds for the gate to open. Besides being close to my house one of the reasons why I rented storage at this location is because it stated that you can open the gate with the gate opener and its 24 hours access. If this location doesn’t have gate openers it shouldn’t advertise as having one and they should at least have it set up where you can open the gate with your cell phone like Public Storage.

Storage units are very small for the price. The facility was clean though.
