U-Haul Storage of Greater Nashua

Stay away. This company let's you reserve any truck on the website even if it is not available. They claim to have a $50 guarantee if you need to go elsewhere to get the truck you ALREADY ordered. We ordered through Leominster but then days later got told the closest truck would be in Nashua, NH. After being hesitant to continue using UHaul at this point, we stuck with it because the $50 would pay for the milage of us having to go FAR out of the way due to UHauls horrible online ordering system. When we arrived in Nashua the Manager had no idea what we were talking about...no notes on the system from Leominster. We were told Leominster would have to refund us, not Nashua. The manager in Nashua was very unprofessional, offering NO help on getting the $50 guarantee that the website CLEARLY states. He said he can't do anything for us so we ended up paying full price and having to pay the extra miles ourselves. We called Leominster and explained the situation. They refused to help us even though they were the ones who told us to go to Nashua and get the guarantee.

When we finally got the truck in Nashua. It was clearly not sanitized or even cleaned out. We found blunt wraps and a lighter in the glove box along with some trash behind the seat. The manager forgot to give us the furniture dolly so we left without it and never got refunded for it.

I have no idea how they think it's fair to let people book trucks that are not even available at the location. This traps people in to thinking they have a plan and than screwing them by having them drive extra milage to get a vehicle due to there error. I will be filing a complaint through BBB after dealing with this. I have yet to get my $50 credit or refunded for the furniture dolly the manager forgot to give us.

Stay far away from this company. They clearly have a 'good luck, not my problem' attitude.

Rented an auto transport trailer. I have rented these before other locations but this the fastest & easiest. Was in stock when I checked in online & was ready to go with minimal time in the office. Thank you Deb!
