U-Haul Storage of Milwaukie

As a paying customer for a storage unit for 7 months, my customer service experience has not been great. Looking at other reviews here, I also notice that there are no responses from the company which further proves my point. There are never any flat dollies available inside your entrance areas. I was told to 'keep searching all the hallways until you find one'. What a ridiculous response to a woman who already doesn't feel safe walking up and down hallways by herself. Yesterday I went drop off another item and once again NO DOLLIES. I didn't even bother to ask for one. Uhaul do better. We are already paying an astronomical amount. The best you can do is prove accessible dollies and allow your customers to feel safe.

The human side of my experience here was great.

However, your reservation system and card readers *must* be more reliable. I reserved a dollie but there were none in-store. I had to go to a second location. The system tried to add furniture blankets to my order several times. Work out your tech issues. It's causing undue stress on your employees and inconvenience for your customers.

U-haul overcharged, then Cody hung up on me.

We rented a u-haul on the 16-17th. On the 31st they finally changed our card in full $252 that we owed. Then on the next day they charged us another $186. So we called and spoke to Cody who told us that we didn't owe the $186, that was just how they did it, and eventually the hold would be released. So I asked if $186 of our money was tied up with a hold while we were moving, and he shrugged it off. I asked him to remove the $186 hold, and he hung up on me.

Horrible customer service. Won't use u-haul again.
