Temperature controlled facilities are a bit humid but I'm also not native to Florida lol

Just a couple days ago, I was searching for a unit to store my vehicle, to avoid the hurricane Ian damage.. Unfortunately there wasn't any available, in this location, but I was surprised, the very next morning, by a phone call from Mary, calling me by first name, to inform me that her husband found a news release that offered parking for me..
I thanked Mary for letting me know, but all day I kept thinking of how kind this couple is, to go that extra effort to help me solve my personal issue. Great people and they show it. I mean really, I didn't know she even knew my name.. Very nice..

If you rent an AC storage and expect comfortable, cool conditions, I'd drop by and ask to go to the unit available to see if its what youd expect and know that it's kept around 79/80 degrees year round.

I have a 3rd floor unit and it was cool when I rented it. The next time I came back - about a week later, it was pretty hot, we actually sweated while there. I was told the A/C was being repaired and they were waiting for a part. That was about 7 weeks ago but the owner believes as long as it doesn't go past 85 degrees, it's perfectly fine, which really isn't acceptable to me. I don't want to go into a large 'air conditioned' storage unit and sweat. I believe it's much warmer in the unit than in the halls. I don't want to change to a different facility but with the price I pay for an ac unit, and it being so hot, I may have to.

UPDATE 4/22/24: Yesterday we went there and the tips of some crayons were melted to the side, I showed the manager, Mary (who's very nice) and she said she would have someone take a look. Today I came back at 10 am and the wall thermometer said 79/80 - it was actually cooler when I walked outside! Many people have items in storage that they pay a hefty price to keep in a cool environment and I feel you shouldn't have to sweat to be in your storage unit to re arrange or look for things and crayons shouldn't melt. I've never seen it much lower, and it's not even summer yet!
I have a 10×10 and pay 130, including tax and insurance(required) to give an idea of prices. It is a clean and nice facility and the only issue I have is the temperature inside the storage building is too hot and humid.
