U-Haul Storage of North Dorchester

When I needed to rent to a U-Haul from this place, they were friendly and accommodating to my needs. Reserving and extending my truck twice was fast and easy through the U-Haul app; when I had to turn my truck in, I needed 2 extra hours and they allowed it without charging extra! I will be using them in the future!

Bait and Switch artist! Beware. Reserved over the phone through their “national” reservations to hold a 10’ truck. A gentleman named Tom said they were available at $157/day and he would discount it to $142.20 + $5 environmental fee. We agree and he sent me the reservation number. A little later a lady called and said the 10’ truck was not available, but she would upgrade to the 15’ truck for the same cost to me. Fine. Went to pick up the truck and the dealer had the 10’ trucks available. Great. They are $187/day + $5 environmental fee. Whoa! I told them my reservation number and receipt showed the $142 rate. Was told they couldn’t honor it since it was made by “Traffic” or Customer Service. Told me I would need to file a dispute with them to get that rate. What a rip off. Guess I’ll be a Penske customer from now on!
