U-Move Movers

Clearly I am not the only one who got hit with a $100 deposit 2xs! (accident...I think not)
I was told it would be notated on the acct for the mishap but the movers argued with me saying they didn't see it on their end but l showed them my bank acct withdraw from the same day of $100 charge twice.

I was told my move with 2 movers was $676 out the door!
if you minus the $200 deposit i got over charged on 'accident'
I was looking at $476 on move day! Well to my surprise he said my total was $710 minus my deposit of $200 how does $676 out the door end up being $976?!
MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
Mind you he then said he was charging me a hour of drive time how do you charge $179 hourly for moving and the same for drive time?! Plus the items they used to wrap my furniture when I asked them on the phone day of schedule if that was extra he said it was included with the price!

On my email from them it says in BIG BOLD BLACK LETTERS (YOUR MOVE WILL INCLUDE) -Professional movers,Furniture Assembly/Disassembly,Appliance install,Furniture Pads/Blankets,Loading/Unloading,White Glove Staging,Insurance coverage,Tape,Boxes,Plastic Shrink wrap,Furniture Dollies,Mattress Bags & Protective Padding for the home (floor covers,wall protective blankets,door covers,misc home prep materials. But yet l got charged extra for tape on a few items that didn't even need tape on and shrink wrap.

I will be calling to speak to Paul and ask for a refund of the extra $234 they charged me or l will dispute it with my bank for fraud.

Pissed off isn't even the words that come to mind, Moving is so expensive in general being lied to and ripped off is BS.

We have just paid $8500 for a move that was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Your movers arrived 2 hours late with a very small truck and then proceeded to tell us what they could take and what they wouldn't take. They charged us to move a 3 bedroom house and only moved one room. They also arrived with no boxes and then sent me out to buy boxes. They also had my wife pack clothing in boxes. The last time we used your company you sent professionals that had everything for valuable paintings. Per the video sent to us our paintings are left in storage uncovered and the driver told us today 'you better come quickly before the rodents eat them.'
We are terribly disappointed and will never use your services again. You also did not give credit for the second $100 deposit given.

Great service with David and Demed! Effective and efficient.

My sister and I called U-Move because we needed help last minute (we needed someone to move my mom out of her apartment the next day). We got Ian and Demyd, and they were great! They showed up, were super efficient at packing our stuff into the truck, and were careful when unloading and stacking it in the storage unit. They were friendly, respectful, and considerate. I would refer U-Move to anyone who needs a moving company
