Great service. Most affordable and flexible

Moved from Indiana to Virginia. Everything went as planned. We packed the trailer, they stored it for one month, and then delivered it to our new address. No hidden fees, Everything discussed up front. Customer service was nice and responsive. Drivers were very friendly on pickup and drop off. Very happy. Would recommend.

I wrote this in an email to U-Pack just last night:

Just want to let you know how delighted and appreciative I am for U-Pack’s performance in my son's recent move from Las Vegas to Lexington, Virginia. You folks are great. In particular, I’d like to commend the gentlemen who delivered and picked up the cube at both ends of the process; both were knowledgable, professional, and had a great sense of humor. I mention the latter because even in the best of circumstances moves, as I’m sure you know, can be quite stressful and your guys went a long way in making it less so.

The most suitable moving services I can find in the market. It's affordable and easy to manage the process. I like the staffs who help me in this process, who are always caring. The cube is good for anyone who has little amount of furniture.

I have used this service twice! And had great outcomes on both! I made a phone call in to UPack, and there I discussed with a friendly person to determine what size I needed for my move- we went with a 27’ trailer, and if we didn’t need that much, the bulkheads could be shortened and we paid accordingly. The trailers (on both moves) were clean, both bulkheads present, and a ramp- I will confess that I did not like the ramp in Florida, it was TOO HEAVY. The ramps are by the local hubs, they don’t travel with the loaded trailers.

The drivers are awesome, honest, and transparent! I love it! They were very helpful, gave great advice, and were very knowledgeable when asked questions. Ironically, I got the same driver in Virginia! Great guy! They were very conscious of state and local laws, measuring, and thought about the small things that i didn’t consider, which was extremely helpful.

The trailer is easy to pack and track with a website. I knew where my stuff was at all times, and we were given three phone numbers in case we needed more support- which we did, and it was a no questions asked, we are there for you and asap kind of staff. Really went the extra mile!

The one thing I didn’t care for- the wooden bulkhead doors- it is plywood, I understand why they are used, but if you aren’t careful, they splinter and you’ll spend time picking splinters out of your hands. I would like to make a suggestion- if you have a rolling garage type for the back door, maybe have the same concept for the bulk heads? Like have a rolling system where you don’t have to physically move them off the truck?

We did get minor rain damage on a couple of our boxes, but somehow, we managed to move during one of the rainiest periods on the east coast. It happens! I’m not worried. Our belongings came out unscathed!

The estimated time to get the truck long hauled (12-15 hours drive for me) interstate- we were told to expect our belongings in 10-14 business days- we actually received them in less than a week.

All in all, it made my move easy, I felt like I had control over the entire move, I had an excellent support staff/team with UPack, and I will definitely recommend them and use their services again! Please do not hesitate! It’s reasonably priced, very easy to use, they do what they say! Always in contact so you have a great peace of mind. They offer other services as well, but we just did the basic.
