U-Pack

From start to finish, the Upack experience was superb. Smart & friendly folk at their 800 number got me over the initial anxiety (I had quotes from many competitors from full service to diy containers) but Upack not only underpriced them but were engaging, wise and well-educated. No hard-sell going on with these folk! Maybe it's these reviews that allow them to coast on their reputation, as I had never heard of them before my move. I went with two cubes, used a hand-held luggage scale roped to a flat piece of wood to weigh each box (and estimated the larger items) and was well shy of their 2500lb-per-cube weight limit. Ended up shipping two tons all by myself (worked out a bit extra beforehand) and received everything in perfect shape (okay, one minor knick on my rocking chair). Just pack everything tightly (think Tetris) and LEARN HOW TO USE THOSE RATCHET STRAPS well beforehand, as they will make a gigantic difference. When all done, pat yourself on the back and give these nice folks a call to thank them.

Great experience! The driver who dropped the trailer off to be loaded was incredible. There was an issue with the apartment management and the trailers parking location and to avoid an additional charge the driver who I believe goes by the name of guy came and waited until the trailer was finished being loaded. His boss was giving him grief and he endured it all to help me out. The rest of the service was great but the Cheyenne Wyoming branch set the standard very high!

After rat-pack completely dropped the ball and didn’t inform me they ran out of containers when I had to love from NJ to SC I contacted UPACK and everything was on time as expected and every phone call was answered without waiting on hold. Excellent customer service especially from Nick in Anderson South Carolina.
Can’t recommend enough.
