U-Pack

This is the best, most economical way to move. It is also the best option for those people who want to load and unload at their own pace. You can take more time to load since you are not as bound to a strict schedule as you may be with a full service company. The trailers are very spacious too. Over 8 ft. wide and around 9 ft. tall!!

We used Upack twice in the last year. First we used a cube and second a trailer. Both times the move went well. Good communication on both ends. Our items arrived on schedule and in good condition for the most part (our fault for not packing some items well). Make sure if you go with the trailer you spend extra attention to strapping you items down well. Our trailer came with straps which we put to good use.

We had a great experience with a upack

This is our second time using U-Pack for a DITY military move. They make it so easy and were so accommodating to all our needs! Not only that, they are super affordable! U-Pack is also available in small towns and pickup and deliver where other companies won't. I know we will count on them for our next move!

Cannot comment about the 28ft trailer but my Relocube experience has been less than pleasing. Feel free to use ABF (in the CSRA region) as long as you're willing your belongings to be dragged onto your driveway and dropped on/off a tow truck. There is no forklift for the Beech Island ABF facility and so do not expect one. Hopefully PODS in the area can provide better customer service than ABF.
