The u-pak trailer move is the best way to go for a safe, fast long-distance move. The employees are quite competent and professional. All items moved with no problems. The price is
very reasonable for a long-distance move across country.
I highly recommend U-pack services.
Is there a zero star rating?? They were late to drop the pod off on both ends by multiple hours. When we opened it up at the destination it looked like they put the entire pod through a tumble dry setting. Coffee table, broken. Dresser, broken. Lamps, broken. Bookshelf, scratched to hell. How they were able to damage heavy wood furniture to this extent is beyond me. Their damage 'insurance' tops out at $250 per pod so it's completely worthless if you have anything of real value in there. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to hire real movers and save yourself the headache. I wish I had.
I moved from the west coast back to the East Coast using a relo cube from U Pack. My move was seamless. Everything arrived in tact. I was VERY pleased with customer service each step of the way. U pack took the hassle and fear out of a really big move. I had used another well know 'reputable' moving company on my inital move to the West Coast and they were horrible. I was so traumatized from that move and losing many of my things to their negligence and theft that I was nervous this time around. U Pack was extremely professional and on point. I highly recommend them.
My go-to when needing to ship cross country. Always on point! Try out.
Horrible experience. My things made it from California to Atlanta but I had a few things break. Not sure if lifting up and down on a forklift did it or what. But there only covering 400 out of 1385 in damages, not to mention me paying 3600 for two cubes... screaming disaster and they didn't want to take accountability. I would say don't ship the things you actually want, but isn't that the whole purpose.. my TV was boxed
