U-Pack

Great experience moving cross country with U-Pack. Very easy to book over the phone, great customer service when I called with questions. The actual vender facilitating the move was ABF Freight and they did a good job as well. Timely, responsive, and willing to work with us around the schedule of the storage facility we were delivering to. Price seemed very competitive as well!

We used U-Pack for our move from California to Ohio. Everything from reserving the trailer to having the trailer picked up after it was unloaded was relatively stress-free. The process is simple…book online, trailer gets delivered, you load it, trailer gets picked up and then delivered to your destination. The quote on transit time and dollars were both accurate. All of the drivers and customer service representatives I spoke to within the timeframe from beginning to end were helpful and responsive. And this was thousands of dollars cheaper ($6k vs $9k) than renting and driving a moving truck ourselves. That’s a win in our book! The trailer that we got did not leak and the only damage to our stuff was how WE packed it. Items will shift and rub during transit so pack high and tight! Use moving blankets and plastic wrap for furniture and valuables. We used several Costco bins for our more valuable items and stacked them as high as we could and they held up great during the move. The only negative was the bulkheads and ramp they provide are somewhat heavy. My husband and I were able to manage but it would have been nice to have one move person to help. But again, that’s on us. High recommend!

I inquired with Pods who had terrible customer service so I went with UPack. Great user interface on the web and easy to continue the process through text. Great service, prompt, no issues at all.

Good price and worked well with our moving plans. Bad note: Did not manage my expectations...needed to have some sort of documentation on the moving process and have updates as to what to do next. Upack and ABF must have better communications.

I priced many companies for a move of about 400 miles. This was best value as well as quickest time. I was able to get quick delivery and pick up for a very fair price! The staff at the main number as well as origination and destination cities were incredibly kind and helpful. The move was very quick and professional! If you are looking for a container type of move- don’t even consider another company. This is it!
