U-Pack

We used UPack for our first big cross country move. I did loads of research before choosing a moving company, as we were understandably nervous about getting screwed over. Fortunately, UPack was excellent from booking to completion. Their website makes obtaining quotes, booking, scheduling, and tracking super easy. Every time we had a question, concern, or change in our plan their representatives were able to help with a quick phone call. Everything went according to schedule with our move, and nothing was damaged along the way (besides a bedside lamp that I packed super poorly). Our family will definitely be using UPack in the future. I would say, the only drawback is the relocation cube sizes. They are nice and tall, but otherwise can be challenging to fit extra large pieces of furniture in. I know UPack offers a freight loading option, as well. I imagine this provides a bit more wiggle room.

I personally wouldn’t recommend utilizing UPack. I have moved 7 times nation wide, 6 of which I done everything myself and 1 with this organization. Never have I had anything mishandled or broken but the one time I utilize someone else to make my move a little easier, I have 3100 dollars in damaged my items.

I had insurance and filed a claim and all I got back was “our driver wasn’t in a wreck and our records show it wasn’t transported into another truck. So the fault must be yours as you didn’t pack right to protect your items.”

Again, I have a fair amount of experience with protecting my items during transit across the US and never have I once broken anything, but they managed to break multiple items. The insurance is a scam, and I cannot recommend utilizing as I have suffered a lot of money from them at their fault.

The coordination is flawless with the company and everything else was quick and easy, but the way the claims department threw us under the bus, put a sour taste in my mouth and a major hole in my pocket.

U- Pack was a simple and price effect option to moving. The online tool was great to be able to determine price for the move. The trailer was delivered when promised and they even gave us an extra day to unpack. The drives on both pickup and deliver were very friendly. I highly recommend.

We recently used U-Pack for a move from CO to NV. The process was easy and able to be completed online. We had some questions and the customer service over the phone was outstanding! The drivers were on time and professional. No hidden fees! We knew exactly what we would pay once our cubes were on the road to our new home. We had plenty of time to pack and unpack the cubes. Would definitely use U-Pack for future moves. Highly recommend!

ABF U-Pack moved us from Colorado to Kauai. Moving to Hawaii we were a little nervous about our delivery and U-Pack sailing across the Pacific however everything came through beautifully! Pricing was so very reasonable compared to other services we had used in the past and we will now always use ABF U-Pack for our future moving needs, however one item to keep in mind when docking at Honolulu we had to call the port to schedule our final destination date to Kauai and that delayed our move for 10 days. We were unaware we had to call the Port of Honolulu to make final arrangements to have our U-Pack delivered to Lihue KAUAI as our contract was not specific in that one regard.
