U-Pack

I was moving from Colorado to Tennessee, but I have a Prius, so packing the car up or hauling a trailer wasn't really an option. But renting a Uhaul is stupid expensive and I would still have to pay for gas on top of the renting price, not to mention, I'd have the stress of trying to drive the big ol' thing. Then, I found Upack. It sounded a little too good to be true, so I did lots of research and read every review I could and compared it with other companies. I was a little bit nervous to try Upack because of some of the negative reviews, but decided I'd give it a shot since I didn't need storage, it was $200 cheaper, I wouldn't have to pay for gas, and I wouldn't have to drive a big truck.
I'm really glad I did! They delivered the Relocube at a good time of day, despite the snow, but pickup was a day later than I scheduled because of it. I was able to track where it was throughout it's journey which was super helpful for my peace of mind, as well as having a better idea of when it would arrive. It was scheduled to arrive 10 business days after it was picked up, which was going to be more like two weeks without my stuff with weekends included. But it was delivered a week early! And the dropoff and pickup in TN was super easy and didn't have any problems! So, overall, my experience with Upack was the best choice I could have made for an across the country move!
I didn't use it for storage, which is where I saw most of the negative reviews come in to play, so I can't speak on that. But for just transporting all my stuff, it was great! I also saw lots of negative reviews about people's stuff being damaged when it arrived, but I just packed mine as tightly and as best I could and nothing was damaged!

My experience with Upack was honestly amazing! I spent about a full day researching the best companies for a cross country move, and dealt with a lot of fishy-seeming companies that were also quite expensive. I had some people personally tell me about their experience with Upack, and I decided to go with them.

I VERY carefully packed all of my things into a shipping container for my move from MI to CO, and everything arrived perfectly. Nothing was broken, everything arrived on the timeline that Upack said it would, and customer service was great. My only complaint is that I didn’t always receive a phone call when I said I would the first day the truck was on its way (but did receive one when the truck was coming in CO to drop off my box). Besides that, everything was amazing! I can’t say enough good things about my experience and this company now has my trust!

PS, they are willing to work with you to negotiate down price if you ask. I was able to get about $300 in discounts after asking twice.

We ended up going with a different company who was able to deliver straight to our new location, kind of in the middle on nowhere, but U-Pack's customer service and process were fantastic and absolutely the cheapest I've seen.

Was able to see the trailer to see if all of my house ? hold wo fit and Thank goodness my mom was able to get that instead of the u pack pods. The gentleman said the upack pods would fit a studio not a house hold.
