U-Pack

As anyone else would be, I was very skeptical about using a container service to move my belongings. However, as I was getting quotes from traditional moving companies to move my belongs from Ohio to North Carolina I realized that it actually seemed safer to use the container company because just about all of the companies I spoke to seemed sketchy and wildly expensive. U-Pack has completely exceeded all of my expectations. Their customer service and speed of service was phenomenal. Every single person I encountered during the pick-up and drop off points was extremely knowledgable and personable. What I loved the most about this company is that they were very clear about their pricing up front and in the end, I actually ended up paying a few hundred less than originally quoted. I would recommend this company again and again.

The driver was pleasant to work with when he arrived eight hours late. otherwise this is one of the worst experiences anybody can expect to have. U- pack does not set proper expectations. You need to expect to be at the mercy of the freight company which U- pack is dishonest about. They can never guarantee 24 hour pick up they can never guarantee that they will pick it up on time within a 48 hour period. If they set this expectation from the get go, I wouldn’t be so upset but since they didn’t I have to give this a zero star review. There are very few other options that are better, however your expectations should be as low as they possibly could be and don’t listen to the lies that the U-pack sales people promise to make the sale.

All employees that I met were kind and had positive things to say about their employer. Service was as advertised and they were not ‘rules nazis’ meaning that they were flexible with our schedule and situation where other companies would have seen it as an opportunity to charge us additional fees.
