United Moving and Storage

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I'm left traumatized and will never use a moving company again.

BOOKING: I booked with them after I received a call and they were of course nice upfront until they got my deposit. They will lie and tell you that costs are expected to go up by thousands if you don't pay deposit that day to lock in price. = LIES (I called back months later and they quoted same price)
PICKUP: When the movers picked up stuff it ended up being over $500 more than they quoted and they already took stuff away before telling us. The movers were rude and pushy.
STORAGE: We opted in to use storage and they promised a certain delivery date that we would be moving into our apartment. When we called on that date the lady on the phone said 'Not my problem, we have your stuff!' Because they weren't delivering it that day. She also called me a 'filthy liar' and laughed when I said I was told it would delivered on a certain date. Mind you, My husband and I both took off at our new jobs for that date. I sent the manager a screen shot of the email I received saying I would get it on a certain date and she preceded to call me a liar unapologetically. They ended up calling later that week and said I would get it in 3-5 business days. That didn't happen either of course.
DELIVERY: We were called a day before the drop off and the driver said he looked up our address on Google Maps and he didn't want to go in the gate and mess up his truck so we have to rent a Uhaul and do it ourselves. Absolutely disgusting. Our gate was 22 feet wide and his truck was 8 feet wide. He had plenty of room and didn't want to move the stuff and charge us the fee. We had to call the cops and property manager of our apartment complex to guide and direct them through the gate as they said they would leave without stuff if the Uhaul wasn't ready.
POST Delivery: Multiple items were damaged and/or premaritally ruined.

DO.NOT.USE.THIS.COMPANY. Read the reviews. Hands down the worst worst worst WORST company I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

Much like most of these reviews. I have to give them one star as Google won't allow me to put a zero. Thank God they never bothered showing up to pick up our stuff. After reading all these reviews I've decided to no longer have them work with me on my move. We are on a tight schedule and these people screwed us big time. False promises of pick up times and calling before arrival. Asked for why the delay, and got an attitude with costumer service. We were asking questions about the move, not trying to pick an argument. They are working under the name U-Trust. #utrust. I've seen contractors change names after being blacklisted by the public, and now have seen it with moving companies. Bunch of RATS! Absolute joke of a company!

DOUBLE the quoted cost, STOLEN personal property and lots broken. Furniture and glassware! This company took NO steps towards what they did! I even filed a POLICE report. I am not just mad but feel betrayed and spoken down to by customer service manager. This just happened in January 2018...they even moved our stuff from one truck to another on a two day move...5 boxes were stolen including IRS stuff. DO NOT trust these thieves. I didn’t believe the reviews and I wish I had. Sucks!!

If it is possible I would like to give them a negative 5 stars please.
