On a $20,000 move, they broke $10,000 worth of my stuff, and after 10 months, they sent me a check for $1,400. Scam company.

I would give negative if I could. They broke a fish tank, and my I found my couch back was laying in the dirt not wrapped,my husband oversized Lazyboy chair same thing, layingin the dirt. So rough with my belongings. Demanded cash and a tip! What kind of company is this?? Guaranteed right!! My truck was late for no reason other then can't make it.

A scam company that no one deals with. They call you before the pick up date by one day and increase the price 500 dollars for no reason. And they send my items broken and some missing. And when you talk to them on the phone they don’t answer.

Let me chime in. The problem I had was that they disassembled some of my furniture and told me they would send people out to reassemble it when I was ready. (My house was under construction.) The delivery driver also assured me they would and told me I had paid for it. I called them when I was ready and they told me it would be another $1500+ to send the people out to assemble my furniture. Use other movers. These people suck.

This is our second time using United and will be our last. Our first move was perfect and easy. Unfortunately, our move from Charleston, SC to AZ has been a nightmare. Our good were picked up almost three weeks ago and they are still stuck in the location if origin. Theresa Barton, our move coordinator has been extremely unhelpful in getting our things to us- as has her superior Shelley Shellenbarger. We have had to consult an attorney to help us get our things out of SC and to us.
