UNITS Moving and Portable Storage

They rented us a unit and two weeks later notified us that they were going out of business and it has to be returned. We spent two weeks filling it up, and now we have to move it all back

Such a good experience! Our first cross-country move, from Boise, Idaho to Montgomery, Alabama. UNITS Boise delivered the shipping container to our back lot, skillfully maneuvering the remote-controlled forklift and container down a narrow alley road, making a tight 90-degree turn and setting it down exactly where we needed it. The container was clean and well-designed, making it easy to stack and secure all our belongings, from cardboard boxes, plastic storage totes, mattresses, desks and cabinets, to blanket-wrapped glass shelves, fishing poles and an amateur radio station antenna! The four straps provided for securing were easy to use and entirely sufficient for the load. We appreciated the flexibility of being able to keep the container for as long as needed. Then, one phone call and the pick-up was scheduled. The operator arrived as appointed, and maneuvered the loaded and locked container out of our back lot, down the narrow alley and back on their truck, destination: Montgomery, Alabama! We were notified frequently regarding status and schedule. While we were driving to our new home, our belongings were kept safe and secure in their warehouse facility in Birmingham.

I needed a portable storage container at a time that was very stressful for me. It was last minute and they were booked solid for deliveries that day. When I called, I spoke to Sandra on the phone and she was nothing short of amazing. Somehow between her and Jeff, who stayed late after his last delivery; I had a portable storage pod sitting in my driveway that exact same day. Jeff was very friendly when he showed up to deliver the storage pod and Sandra has been the most amazing woman to work with during this time of transition in my life. She really is a rockstar!

That type of Customer Service and commitment to providing excellent service to the community is what we need to see more of! I will always use UNITS in the future!
