UNITS Moving & Portable Storage of Raleigh and Greensboro

Got a quote and had a drop off time set. No issue there. Asked for rollup doors because the curb wouldn't allow for barn doors. Called twice to make sure this was clear. Day before the drop-off I double checked and gave them the number for my wife as I wouldn't be home. They assured me they would give me a 20 minute heads up and call her instead.

Day of drop off arrives, they call me saying they are there, no heads up. I'm frustrated but get them coordinated with my wife. She calls and says they brought one with barn doors instead of the roll up. I refuse delivery and the driver gets it sorted (he was great and worth noting it wasn't his fault). He brings the correct one. All is well. I call the day before the scheduled pickup date to get an idea of what time they are coming and they say they don't have me on the books. Big issue. Both my wife and I took off time from work for that specific day. They got it sorted but every step of the way was like pulling teeth.

The scheduled pickup day I discussed on the phone with them was also missed and I had to call to get that scheduled. Took multiple calls and 15 business days for them to pick it up (the lease said 7 to 15 business days), I'm not sure if they would've picked it in that window if I didn't call them so much.

Price was good.
Drivers were good.
Communication was poor.
Scheduling was poor.

I appreciate them making things work but scheduling things right the first time and being clear on times would've been great.

She called to confirm drop off and pick up day and time. They called ahead to give me his ETA when dropping off and picking up, and they placed the container exactly where I wanted it. UNITS offered containers at a better price than the national brand. They let me arrange the drop-off AND pick-up at the time of placing the order. Great experience. I will be telling my neighbors about UNITS and I will be a repeat customer.
