Units of Knoxville

What a crock of crap this company is. Moved into a small rental back in September. Thought maybe I would need a unit in my back yard while I downsized to a tiny home. On their website, it states the steps to obtain a unit…quote, contract, money, delivery. So I go online and got a quote. Next day I was contacted about my quote and I voiced my concerns on where the unit could be placed and was told someone could stop by and check out the surroundings to see if there was even room. Text message conversation with said person checking out the surrounds said it would have to go in the back yard. Never said he was actually dropping it off. Why would he? No contract signed, no money given? Don’t deliver the unit! I had not moved into the home yet and never thought they just dropped it off without anything more done. Few days later I get the contract and I signed with no promised date of delivery. Then I get a call saying I need to pay money. As a single mom, I told them I would have to delay the delivery of a unit to use due to my financial situation and knowing how much money moving was going to cost me. I then find out they already delivered the unit the first day the man was supposed to just come out and make sure I could even fit a unit in the yard! I told them they needed to come get it because I’m not able to pay…. Nope, now they want drop off fee, first month’s payment, pick up fee! Money I definitely don’t have. Okay, then come pick up the unit and we’ll set up a payment arrangement. Nope, they’re leaving it in the yard until paid AND adding fees every month. What a joke! Management even said “yea, we weren’t supposed to drop it off without a contract signed and money received” ((which I have recorded)) and yet they did and then blamed me and want me now to pay all this money for their screw up. I’m moving back to another state for a job offer and told them my landlord wants it removed or it will be removed for them. Oh, here come threats of felony charges and now my landlord is responsible even though he has nothing to do with any of it so good luck pinpointing it on him. So now it is being towed away and we shall play this out in court. Kuddos to these jerks! Should have just came and picked up your property.

Everyone that I interacted with at Units Moving and Portable Storage was professional, friendly, and helpful. Anytime I needed the unit moved as well as when we added another unit; they were quick to respond and complete my request! If we ever need storage pods again, we will definitely become repeat customers!

I would highly recommend UNITS of Knoxville. They were very professional over the phone and were very helpful answering questions throughout the whole process. Mike was the driver that delivered the unit. He was very patient discussing options to determine the best spot for us and for the unit We would definitely use them again!

Michael was very professional and did an awesome job! In and out quickly and very knowledgeable. We appreciate him.

I called and spoke to Austin about renting a POD to help with our move. Not only was he knowledgeable he was helpful and went out of his way to help!! During a stressful time of selling and buying a home and moving he made it easy trying his best to remove some of the stress!!!! Call them great customer service!!!!!
