Great organization, great service. This is the fourth time we use this organization for our moves. The team was stellar! These guys know what they're doing. Very honest and get the job done when promised or even sooner. Polite and careful with your stuff. Pricing is very competitive if not the best.
Exceptionally DISHONEST company. Used them last week for a Chicago, IL student move and we just got back from filing police report as a result of our experience with them. We'll leave the police issues alone in this review to protect the safety of our family. But, here are the non-police related issues: 1.) Pricing is not up front as heralded on their website--pricing changed once they had my daughter's stuff and they wouldn't agree to schedule the return unless we paid extra in cash. 2.) Items were not treated with care, and while nothing was damaged per se, we still are touching up items from the 'bangs' of their moving procedures and we still have not received two items that they moved. 3.) As we've worked with their customer 'care' contacts to resolve issues, we are continually called names or threatened. 4.) If this is a company of students or recent graduates as they state in their advertising,, I'd like to know from what college. The moving crew barely spoke English; our moving coordinator couldn't do simple math as shown in the quotes with multiple errors; and in one of the emails where we were threatened if we didn't take down a bad social media reviews, they threated to sue us for deformation. De. For. Mation. ?? Regardless, do NOT use this company.
A friend of mine just tried to use University Student Movers for a move two days ago. He had an appointment scheduled and they called to say they were probably not going to be able to make it because they were running behind schedule. He explained he couldn't reschedule because he had to be out of his apartment by 8am the next morning, so they said they would come at 10pm. He waited and nobody had come by 11, so he called, emailed, called again and again until 12:30am but nobody would answer his calls. He had everything packaged and ready to go, so he didn't even have somewhere to sleep that night. The next morning he got in touch with someone else who said he should have made an appointment, which he did, but they had just ignored and skipped. He eventually had to call another place, was never offered a refund for the move and was also charged late fees from his own landlord because he was not out by 8am. Since then they have no responded to emails, to phone calls and don't have a voicemail set up so there is no way to reach them to try and resolve the situation. Don't risk your move by using such an unreliable company, it was a nightmare for my friend and ended up being very expensive for him!
