Review:

These people are thieves. They agreed a price and took my deposit, then called up on the morning of the move (before arriving or seeing my stuff) and raised the price 25%. When I said no, they refused to refund the deposit.

Everyone should complain to their credit card companies and to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration - it's the only way we will get them shut down.

They do appear to be scamming the Google reviews. There are two large groups of 5 star reviews, posted in about September and June 2018, largely written by non-native English speakers, some of whom have complaints on their records as being part of a corporate fake review team.

I suggest that everyone who has been scammed edit their review to indicate whether they would agree to be part of a joint complaint to the FBI. While each of our claims are too small to be worth investigating, the aggregate amount may not be.

Review:

CORRUPT COMPANY!!! I wish I could give a negative rating. Ending price was over double the quote. The movers showed up without boxes or packing material, asking us if we had some. When they did start packing boxes, they weren't wrapping anything. We had to stop them completely and make them wrap things. We told them that they had to write down on the boxes what was inside the box so that the items could be listed on the inventory, they eventually started to but not well. When I looked into the truck I noticed the truck was packed a lot more than it should have been and with their permission I got inside the truck and saw that the started packing the truck a quarter of the way in, but were charging me for the space of the entire truck. When I called an complained I was hung up on and was told by the last person that hung up on me that if I complained again I wouldn't see my stuff until after the new year. When my items did finally arrive, 12 days after it was supposed to, 1800 cubic feet of the 2630 I shipped arrived and they told me that was everything. Everyone I talk to directs me to someone else, or to another line that just rings. No one will communicate with me. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS!!!!

Review:

Please don't use this company. They charge me much higher than the market price. They promised me they will deliver in two weeks. However, they spend 40 DAYS!!!! (six weeks) to deliver my furniture. When you call their customer service, they never told you where is your furniture and when will they deliver and never call you back.

When they delivered my furniture. They miss two mattresses and broke my lamp. I don't think they will deliver them again or refund me.

Review:

The company is a fraudulent company. I was quoted a price of $1400 - $1700 to move from Brooklyn to PA. I put up a deposit of $451, and I figured I had about $600 extra in case I had to pay more.

The day of my move the driver came, and counted everything over, and told me the cost would be $4,300. I was devastated, how was I supposed to give them more than double the quote? I cancelled the move because I was misquoted and I couldn't afford it. I had to find another company and pay them $2,700 because it was last minute, taking me over my budget by $700.

I called and emailed multiple times and regarding my deposit refund. They said, I was not entitled to my refund because I cancelled the service. I expressed at minimum take a percent of the deposit, but not the entire deposit. They refused to honor my request and began ignoring my emails and calls. I had to place a stop payment with my credit card company. I am awaiting the credit card decision.

This was a horrible experience. I will never look to this company for any moving needs.

Wow, what a SCAM! Trust me any of these 5 star reviews are fake, I can promise you that...
In a nut shell- was promised a 9am pick up from sales who even said he'd make sure of it (guy is a complete snake). Called customer service at 920am, they told me it was scheduled for 1pm. Asked to speak to customer service manager and they hung up on me. 12:50pm Rolls around, mover calls and says he is going to be there in an hour. Mover shows up at 2:20pm. Mr. Friendly the mover runs down the agreement again, $99 an hour annddddd for every 'extended 50ft walk' was another $100. Let me repeat that: EVERY EXTRA 50 FEET FROM APT. DOOR TO BAY AREA WAS AN EXTRA $100. I attempted to negotiate since I already wasted my day off from work and the mover just laughed at me. He said the best he could do was load the truck, take it to the place and give me fair estimate there. After he gave me the estimate, I would need to pay them BEFORE they took my stuff of the truck. So in other words if I didn't pay the astronomical new estimate, they would've held my belongings. Welcome to 21st century piracy ladies and gentleman.
Us Moving Team, you are complete garbage....especially the sales team.
**Props to one customer service woman who did refund (at least she said she did, will need to wait to see if that's even true) my payment and had to deal with my frustration...If any of this is inaccurate, I would love to talk to someone from US Moving Team. GREAT TEAM WORK GUYS!
