Review:

I would give Jay and his crew 20 stars if I could! Jay was professional, responsive, and worked with me every step of the way on a last minute move. The moving crew were very polite, kind and worked very efficiently and did an amazing job moving everything. Don't waste your time calling anyone else...Jay's prices beat out everyone's and the service was impeccable. Thanks Jay..till the next move!

Can not say enough about Jay and his company. I needed a large farm table I purchased delivered to me. I contact Jay on Tuesday and he responded immediately and had it picked up and delivered by Thursday. Best service I have ever had with any moving company. Highly recommend and will definitely use Jay for any of my moving needs!

I will come back to edit this post and share the whole story when I have some time but wanted to get this out there to hopefully save anyone considering using this company a lot of grief, frustration and regret. There’s another 1 star review here from 9/2022 that I wish I had read before I hired Van Man, as mine is a very similar and very unfortunate experience. Do not let the convenience of affordability and availability fool you, you will end up paying the price in other ways.

On 9-9-2022, We hired VanMan to move from King of Prussia to Paoli for about 15 Furnitures.
Before moving, I asked the owner Jay for proof of insurance, he claimed he had it, but wouldn't share claimed this is common practice in the industry.
During moving, they didn't wrap any furniture and used brute force. The members didn't mention anything about existing defects at the old place. They disassembled as little pieces as possible comparing to prior companies (understandable), but only found some couldn't be moved through doors, and disassembled Furnitures in midair with screws and pieces falling all over, we had to pick up after them.
After arriving at new place (15 minutes). They continued using brute force. when moving a desk with shelf to the 2nd floor, one member lift it on the weaker side stand, after 2 cracking sound, the screws holding the stand were sheared off and sockets were destroyed.
When assembling the king-sized bed, half of the beams supporting mattress missed screws and hanging in midair without connecting to frame. Clarence said he would fix everything.
After he went back to moving truck (26' UHAUL) to pick up tools. I heard loud engine and tire screeching sound and found they tried to leave but stuck on our driveway and destroyed large part of the lawn.
I asked Clarence back and inspected the Furnitures together. The desk and bed were barely standing without secure connection. They could fall at any push.
I contacted Jay and he said he would file insurance claim after I pay them first.
The truck was towed.
Later, Jay replied to me insurance company estimated $120 for the two 8-year-old furniture ($2300 purchase price). He would send me a check himself on 9-12. I agreed and asked him to forward his insurance estimate and he agreed.
On 9-14 Jay replied the claim was declined so he won't send me any money. I asked for insurance info again and he didn't send me anything.
I'm questioning if they have any insurance at all. Not an honest company.
