**Avoid at All Costs – Unprofessional and Unreliable**

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Victor’s Moving Service, and I feel compelled to warn others. I initially contacted the company on January 1st to schedule a move for January 4th. I spoke directly with Victor, who said he couldn't accommodate that date but offered January 7th instead. I explained that I couldn’t do the 7th due to a doctor’s appointment. After some back-and-forth, we settled on January 8th. Victor quoted me $400 to move 15 storage bins, 2 king beds, 3 bags, and 2 boxes, which I agreed to.

On January 6th, I texted Victor at 12:46 PM to confirm the appointment. He didn’t respond until 5:40 PM, which I only noticed later. I assumed everything was on track. On January 8th, I prepared for the move by placing all my items outside to make things easier for the movers. By 12:20 PM, they still hadn’t arrived, nor had I received a call. Concerned, I called and texted Victor, only to discover he had sent a text earlier saying he had a 'bigger job' and wouldn’t be coming.

Victor’s response when I called to express my frustration was dismissive and apathetic. He showed zero regard for the inconvenience he caused or the effort I had already put in. I had to scramble to find a replacement service last minute. Thankfully, Two Men and a Truck came to the rescue. Though they cost a bit more, their professionalism and efficiency made the extra expense worthwhile. They moved even more items than planned within their 3-hour minimum.

Victor’s lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability is unacceptable. A proper business would have ensured the appointment was confirmed and honored or at least made an effort to find an alternative solution. Instead, Victor left me stranded, forcing me to deal with unnecessary stress and expenses.

While I acknowledge I should have followed up sooner to confirm his late response, as the business owner, Victor bears the ultimate responsibility to manage his schedule and communicate effectively. His behavior was heartless, unprofessional, and untrustworthy. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. His low price came with equally low standards.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Victor’s Moving Service. The headache isn’t worth it.
