Walker Transfer - Powell, LLC

My company recently relocated me & my family from IL to Houston TX. Although we have moved many times in the past 20 years, this is the first for us using a full service moving company. We were a little nervous, not just relocating across county, but unsure how everything would go using a full service moving company. Let me tell you, we will never not use Walker Transfer - Powell, LCC, regardless of where me move. They handle everything, and I mean everything!! The crews were simply amazing to work with, Bonnie our main moving coordinator had impeccable communication which removed all of our stress. Doug & DJ who own and operate the truck and hire the crews to assist at pick up and drop off, where also just as amazing to work with, they truly cared for our items. By the time our items were delivered (which only took a couple of days) it honestly felt like we had made new friends.

I'll share a picture with you to show the true care they have. This picture is of real flowers that my mom had dried from flowers from our backyard growing up - these flowers have to be at least 25-30 years old. My mom has since passed, and I have been moving these with me everywhere we go. Normally I would transport in my own car to ensure the safety of it's arrival, however moving cross county, limited that ability. Out of all of our items, this is what I was the most worried about. As you can see in the picture, it arrived in Perfect Condition!! I had happy tears when taking it out of the box.

Movers worked efficiently and delivered everything safely. Even though there was scheduling issues, the team did a great job of resolving the issues and got me moved in time. Would recommend for future moves.

I moved from MO to TN and that was the smoothest move ever! I moved out from 1 bed 700 sq ft apartment. I highly recommend their services. Some details below:

First, they do 30 min intro call. Then someone with moving expertise video call and see the place with furniture etc. in it. Then if they decide to put things - that can't be disassembled - in crates, or fragile like mirrors, giant wall art.. their crate team makes custom crates for each item. They securely crate them and leave in your place - ready to be shipped. Then moving crew comes and wrap everything up (pun intended). They keep clothes with their hangers so they are ready to be hung at their new location. That is impressive!

Then they put everything in storage until the new moving in date. So no need to rush. They shipped my things in 2 days after moving out. They brought everything to my new apartment on top floor - no elevator :/, they reassembled my furniture.. they also came back to pick up moving cardboard boxes and paper fillings! :O

Only thing I had to do was packing my own valuables and taking them with me.

Great experience! Jay Maynard was the driver for my move and he was fantastic! Everything was done quickly and efficiently! Could not recommend them enough!
