Walk's Moving

Walks moved us locally last week-the crew was friendly, efficient and capable while the price was very reasonable. We experienced no breakage and we highly recommend Walks for your moving needs! They were awesome!

I'd stay away! Owner was unprofessional and added $4000 in charges.

The business owner, Gary, does not communicate effectively and took no responsibility for his mistakes. The interstate move for our parents was an awful experience that could have been avoided. Gary did not take into account emails sent well in advance of moving day and did not communicate to clear up any misunderstandings. My parents ended up paying Gary over $4000 more than quoted and the move required an unplanned separate trip on a different day, due to him sending too small a truck. This caused a domino effect of problems for my parents to figure out at the very last minute. Gary's explanation was that my dad was “confused.” However my dad’s emails explained all very clearly; Gary was the one confused due to his lack of attention. Then it took TEN days for the 2nd delivery of their things. Instead of being apologetic, acknowledging his mistakes which we would’ve respected, Gary blamed all on the customer, literally claiming nothing was his fault. I’d definitely stay away from this company and go with someone more highly rated.

Hands down the BEST! I had them move a very heavy (600+lbs) piece of equipment from my garage into my basement down a flight of steps, and 3 guys had it done in no time less than 45 mins!

The workers were so polite and friendly! They were able to work around my wonky work situation and didn’t even miss a step! They are a little more expensive but when it is more important to have your belongings safe than just moved they are the best!

And the office staff were outstanding too!!!! Jocelyn was so helpful and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the extra care they gave me to get me through this very stressful relocation.

They went the extra mile and made me a lifetime customer for all of my heavy lifting needs!

If you ever have a moments concern about the ability of someone to move something across town or from one place in your home to another then your using the wrong people, call Walks they will get you taken care of!

They were to move large items only today. My husband took off work. They get there and try to increase the quote and say they can't take a large gun safe because that wasn't in the quote. It was and I have it in the email quote. The driver Bill was horribly rude and left. He had 2 other jobs they put on him last minute and he didn't have time for this. He was beyond disrespectful. Would not recommend after this treatment. Very disappojnted used them before and they were wonderful. Not the same guy that came before. Thumbs down.
