Amazing – looking at the reviews, they haven’t gotten any better since they did my move.
I know it’s hard to find good help these days, but with these reviews the problem obviously rests with ownership and management.
These are only a few of the issues I remember. The kids they sent to do the move didn’t know how to use a hand truck, had no power tools and a cheap plastic tool kit. I disassembled and reassembled all of the larger items. Their pants were around their lower hips so low, that they were stepping on their cuffs and almost tripping. They took as many cigarette breaks as they did work. And, they bumbled about while I and my 60 yr old father were running up and down the stairs moving twice as much and twice as fast as they were. They broke trim off an antique record player because of poor hand placement, and didn’t bother to report it to me. I could have repaired it, but they chucked the piece away. They tore the leather straps off an antique chest because they tried to carry it by the 100 yr old dry leather straps, instead of just grabbing the chest itself. Then, they lied to my face and said they saw my father do it. If I would have picked the chest up by the straps, my father would have beat my backside. If I would have then lied about it, he would have beat my backside until my nose bleed (yes, he joked that on occasion, and no he never did that). They told me they told my father of 3 items with prior existing damage. He told me they only told him of one (and it was not the record player). Finally, it was when they carelessly dropped an item on the beautiful old hardwood floors and caused a massive gouge, that I had to kick them out of the house and leave the rest in the front yard. They gave me a one hour discount on a 6 hour move that should have only taken 4 hours, but at that point I accepted just so I didn’t have to deal with them any longer.
Truly was the worst customer experience with any business I’ve ever had in my entire life.
Will NOT recommend Warner's to anyone. Used them years ago with no problems. This time was very disappointing. First, they changed time to start. They left water bottles and trash around. They kept banging into doorways at entrance when coming in with their loads. Large bedroom furniture and living room units were damaged. They neglected to tell us where they put the shelves from our desk (they were inside another piece of furniture). Also, a very large container of pennies disappeared! That's money that was stolen from us! Someone is lying and sales manager wasn't helpful.
UPDATE: The court ruled in our favor. Warner’s and their band of cronies showed up as unprofessional as they did when we moved. Even though justice was served, it was not worth the pain and aggravation. Avoid these knuckleheads. THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES CONFIRMED THEFT OF CUSTOMERS BELONGINGS AND SALES MANAGER A LIAR! RUN! I have went from disappointed to absolutely infuriated with Warner's Moving. I had used this company several times with no issues and was excited to move with them again this past March. This time around, the crew showed up late and left early from packing. The next day, they showed up late and again left early. During the day they often disappeared into a personal vehicle or the truck and took smoke breaks more often than I felt reasonable. We were moving well into the evening as a result. My items were packed inappropriately i.e. heavy items on top of electronics, invaluable antiques piled under heavy items, such as books, and the crew's behavior was inappropriate. They left soda bottles and trash all over our house. They left their personal items on top of our items. They were carrying one empty hamper up the stairs at a time. Upon any feedback we gave, we were met with argument and eye rolling. Being pregnant, I ended up having to pitch in and do my own moving to get us out on time. My husband had to use his paternity leave days to stay home and also assist. Upon entirely unpacking, I was left with two broken Alexa echo devices, busted cookware, broken coasters, a hole in my couch, 49 pairs of missing shoes/hats/and gloves, all high end brand and designer named items like Ugg, Under Armor, Calvin Klein and Michael Kohrs, Hey Dudes, etc. and ALL 3 sets of sterlite dressers they were housed in (9 drawers full in total), a missing shark vacuum, including the dust buster and all the attachments, and a missing knitted basket. It’s very uncanny to me that everything missing was too big for a moving box, like the long and skinny Shark vacuum, and the sterlite drawers, these items would’ve been awkward to box and would’ve been carried out by hand and therefore not marked Warners or labeled. Hypothetically, they could have been put aside or carried out and no one would know who they belonged to. Considering the movers had a personal vehicle at our old house and new house both days, it would be entirely possible my unmarked items ended up in their car and no one could prove where they came from because again, none of the missing items would go in a Warners Box because of the awkward size/shape. I am not looking forward to trying and resolve this with them. EDIT: The Sales Manager is a LIAR. After arriving at 8 am for an in person meeting and sitting across the table from this man and calmly explaining the situation, I was told ricidulous things like the movers who self-proclaimed they have moved homes countless times for many years “distinctly remember” packing my missing drawers…. Right. I’m sure my stuff stood out among the rest two months later! Joe Allen also claims his company doesn’t employ thieves, yet an employee admitted that two employees were investigated and one of them was in fact caught stealing. Clear history, Joe! To no surprise, my belongings were not located in any type of lost and found and I’ve begun a very expensive process of replacing everything, filed a police report, a complaint with BBB, and a civil suit against Warners. You have been warned!
Packaged and shipped an irregular load to The Keys.
We had a wonderful experience with Warners! All movers were very professional and careful with our items. They were very efficient and courteous. Moving can be stressful, especially when moving a distance, but Warners helped ease any stress we had. I would definitely recommend them!
