Our phone call to our local representative was returned promptly. He was quite helpful and was able to answer all our questions and even offered information we had not considered. They arrived a little before the scheduled time to review our move, and then gave us a quote that we found acceptable. They were quite willing to work with our schedule and our unique set of issues. Over all, we are very satisfied with our local team. Good job guys!

My wife and I had been planning an exit from NY for a couple of years with about 3500 pounds of possessions and a car. We decided to move to the town of Walla Walla, WA and commenced the search for a mover. We elected to start our search in Walla Walla and work our way backwards which yielded Bekins Northwest in WW, connected by Wheaton to NY, and Basic Moving in Brooklyn. We were absolutely amazed at the level of competency and professionalism that we experienced every step of way and how coordinated each of these entities were with each other. At no time did we feel uneasy because at every opportunity, every representative was eager to help and to ensure that they were readily accessible and that their sister companies were also performing in kind. From the initial shipment to transit to final delivery, we were kept apprised every step of the way. Movers were efficient, amicable and courteous and we were happy to get to know them along the way. All of our possessions came through undamaged. I could keep writing - but the key takeaway for us was that the entire Wheaton team and sister entities possess a customer service model that has almost evaporated in today's cost-focused business mindset. We did pay a little more than brand x but the peace of mind was invaluable. We really want to thank everyone who helped us along the way with special shout-outs to Helen Adler of Basic Moving and "Bear" (our wonderful car transporter) who helped to initiate our move out of NY and instill a peace of mind that made the conclusion of our journey somewhat bittersweet because we thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone! We wouldn't hesitate to pick up the phone and call Wheaton again were we to pursue another move of this magnitude. It would be our first and only call.

Paid for packing and full insurance...they destroyed most of my families shoes, clothes, and several other items. Didn't send an adjuster til over a month later...offered a portion of the value as a settlement. I will now have to sue them. Horrible customer service....no one takes any responsibility.
