Wherley Generations Moving and Storage

These guys area awesome. They moved our furniture out of our Baltimore County home of 30 years and put it in storage while we completed construction of our new home in Abbottstown, PA (Close to Hanover, home of the best potato chips and pretzels in the world). As of today - we are home !! In less than three hours these guys brought everything in and set it up. They even dropped off three pieces of very heavy furniture that we couldn't use at an auction house on their way back to York. We couldn't be happier.

Andy and the Wherley team did a fantastic job with my move. I cannot thank them enough for the time and effort they put in. They had me moved in three hours, and the team did a great job of making sure the items were placed in the correct rooms. Very communicative and timely. I would 100% recommend Wherley!

I used Wherleys twice in the last 6 months. They are punctual, thoughtful, efficient and fast. No one loafs on these crews. The first move were 3 men and my second was today moving my entire bedroom suite down 16 steps and carrying it to my garage. This was very heavy solid oak furniture. The two men worked and completed the job in under 1 hour. Will always be my moving company when needed. Thank you!

We hired Wherley Generations to move us from from Cumberland County to York County and the 4 man crew was very efficient and friendly. We were worried about the crew 'riding the clock' to waste time since we paid 195/hour but they did not do this at all. There were no added fees except for an extra hour charged for travel. We did take off two stars due to the fact that Andy came out and did an estimate documenting what we had and how much needed moved. Prior to the moving team arriving we took about 4-5 car loads of boxes/things to the new house so the crew had less to move than Andy originally planned. We also had both bed frames taken apart so that was something that didn't need done. They arrived at 8:30 and at 11:30 they said they were done and heading over the new house. My wife and I looked around and noticed quite a few large items (trash can, spare refrigerator, few boxes, vacuum) were left behind. When we questioned this we were told that there wasn't any more room in the truck. Instead of locking the door and driving over to our house we had to rush around and cram stuff into my wife's car thus leaving a half hour behind the crew. This accounted for the crew arriving to a house where they had to wait for us (while on the clock). We called the following day and were refunded the half hour which was appreciated. They also slightly damaged our wall and provided $60 compensation. We would use Wherley Generations Moving in the future and recommend them despite the small issues.
