White Moving & Storage

I am in disbelief regarding our experience with David White and his employees. We paid over $1800 for assistance with packing our home and loading a moving truck. We have a leg missing to a table, damaged furniture due to not being wrapped in blankets, small dressers with gouges on the top of them due to being placed at the bottom of a heavy load. After contacting David, I was told that the men who had been working in our home for two days weren't his employees for those days, he was paying them cash not from his payroll therefore he nor his company have any liability for my missing and damaged furniture. I'll be taking this to small claims court as every email I have to and from was in his capacity as White Moving & Storage, not 4 men off the street being paid cash.

We hired White Moving and Storage to move one of our departments into another building on campus. David is very responsive to emails (he responded to our request for a bid within an hour) and was over to give us a bid within 12 hours of our original email. His crew was very professional, and took great care of all of our furniture. They disassembled and reassembled office furniture in different configurations to fit the new space. They completed their move in less time than estimated. We have already scheduled our next move with them.
