I can not say enough good things about Whitney Transfer & Storage. I was on a short timeline to get moved. The Owner called me back and was able to fit me in to their schedule. I had called multiple movers and this is the only company that actually returned my call. The 2 men that came to move me us were outstanding!!! They take care of all the furniture as if it was their own. Wrapped and padded everything. When they delivered my furniture it was stored in a storage unit and they made sure using my blankets to pad everything. They had to stack furniture to the ceiling and were outstanding. Then it was time to pay the bill, again I could not believe the amount they charged, they had to drive 2 1/2 hours to deliver it. It was about half of what I was expecting. I highly recommend Whitney Transfer & Storage for any and all moving needs.

The team worked quickly to get our house packed up and moved in 2 days! They came in and set up beds and carried all the heavy furniture upstairs. Worth every penny!

They handled my military move in June and I specifically asked during the pre-move survey if my clothes would be placed into the stand-up “wardrobe” style boxes and was told yes. This has been standard practice for every move I’ve previously completed within the U.S. However at delivery this week, my clothes to include my military uniforms were all folded over like paper and stuffed into much smaller non-stand up style boxes, so they are all wrinkled and crushed now. Many of these items had been dry cleaned and pressed prior to my move, which of course is not cheap. Funny thing is they were incredibly strict on food items (sugar, flour, non-sealed items, etc.) and many had to be thrown away during my pack-out, which is fine, but they treated my clothes like cleaning rags. Extremely disappointed is an understatement.

Update: If the owner read my review, I stated that I asked for (requested) the wardrobe style boxes to properly protect and care for at a minimum all of my military uniforms and was told yes (sets an expectation when agreed upon). Military uniforms are not cheap, nor is the care of them, so I’m not talking about gym clothes or worn out work clothes here. Additionally, the crew was not trained on how to properly handle and label the hardware for items that are disassembled nor did they have the proper materials to secure them. I ended up having to give them plastic shopping bags to put hardware in, which of course is suboptimal. Also at delivery, an $800 wireless speaker was missing and several other items were damaged (which I claimed), so I should have waited to include all of this in my original review instead of simply pointing out the crushed military uniforms (what I noticed first upon delivery), so as to avoid leaving an “unrealistic” review in the owner’s eyes that was comparable to an employee being late once and being the worst employee ever.

They were friendly and efficient. Two guys came to clear out our 10x10 storage unit. It took them a while, nearly 6 hours in the heat but they were careful with wrapping/boxing all our items and everything was labelled very well. The receptionist was also quite helpful.
