I hired them because they had great reviews. However, that wasn’t the case with my experience. When I called, I asked the normal questions. Do you put runners down to protect the floors? Do you wrap up antique items? Yes was the answer to all of my questions. The day before moving the owner called me to let me know they might reschedule due to the weather, if not, they will be there between 9 and 10 am. I had no problem switching if we had too. So the next morning it’s raining buckets. The owner called me at 930am and said they were still coming and be there shortly. Where I was moving from and where they were located was super close. Shouldn’t be long before they get there. An hour and 15 mins later, still not there. I called him back, asking if they were having a hard time finding it and he said no they were in route now. We had a mattress and dresser in a truck outside waiting for the moving truck because they were putting it in. That was out in the rain for a bit because they were suppose to be there between 9&10. We ended up having to take the mattress out of my truck and put it inside. They finally showed up at 11:45am and began the move. They did not put any runners down. They did not wrap any of the TVs or antiques I had. The owner was there supervising for a bit and he had to leave to go to a different job. He then asked me for a deposit before he left then just decided to collect the whole amount. He told me a different price than what I was quoted on the phone. $10 more per hour. That was because he forgot it was a Saturday!! So they were 2 hours late, didn’t do anything they said they would do and then requested more money. The movers themselves were very nice, nonetheless, this was a poor experience all around. I work in customer service and our company would never quote someone and then expect them to pay more. Especially if we were late by 2 hours and didn’t do the job we said we do. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone nor do business with them again.
