The move coordinator stopped responding for days at a time. This happened at least three times -- there were multiple occasions where I was assured that I would have information by the end of the day, and I had to follow up to get information days later. She said, over and over, that she was sorry for dropping the ball and that it was her fault.
My delivery was a full week late, and I had to follow up, repeatedly, to get that information, and the move coordinator said, over and, that she was sorry for dropping the ball and that it was her fault.
I asked via email for my two desks to have disassembly and assembly added. Somehow, the move coordinator read 'two desks' as 'one big desk', supposedly, and only added one desk, so I'm being charged for the second desk after the fact despite it being her mistake. She said, over and over, that she was sorry for dropping the ball and that it was her fault.
The actual movers were fantastic - they were efficient, friendly, and cooperative. It's a shame the overall experience was so bad that I can't improve the rating based on their service.
Edit: They talk about honesty and integrity. If that's so important, why exactly am I being charged more now when the moving coordinator 'misunderstood'? Just feels like one last 'screw you' at this point. 'Yeah, we screwed you over, and we'll do it again, too!'
United Van Lines/Williams Transfer, if you want to make it right, like you keep saying, don't charge me for the third party thing based on someone 'magically' misreading. Actually look into how on earth someone could disappear for days on end, *even when I was told she would call me immediately after her lunch*, and still be able to perform their job (hint: they can't.)
Delivery was smooth and quick! Those guys work as a team very respectful crew I would deliver there any time.
