Review:

I partnered with Woodland Moving to install furniture and accessories in a senior living community. It was new furniture that they received and then transported to the site and helped me install everything.
Everyone at Woodland Moving has been fantastic to work with. Lacy and Luis in the office and warehouse have communicated fully with me through our whole process.
At the job site, Cayaniesse, Maria, Graciela, Will, Kelvin, Jimmy, Joe, and Enrique were delightful --- working so hard and quickly and carefully, and with a smile the whole way. I look forward to my next project in the area, just so I can work along side them again.
My great appreciation for all these people who do all they promise and more.

I am giving this company 0 stars. One of their employees (Ashley) stole jewelry from an area that I asked her not to touch, while she was packing things in my bedroom. I filed a formal complaint with the military and called the police to investigate. I would strongly recommend using another company. In the investigation, the police found out that this company does not do background checks on any packers and movers. Only the truck driver that haul your things. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way. If you’re like me (military) and TMM sets you up with this company for your move, try to request a different company. If you’re stuck, make sure to NOT have Ashley in your home! That’s the lady that stole from me. She’s short, Hispanic, and missing a tooth in the front of her mouth. In my filing a complaint with the military, I am working to get this company removed so that we do not have to deal with crappy companies who lack professional integrity.

Woodland Movers did a great job with Dad’s move. Gimani & Harold were terrific - efficient, careful, calm & kind. Woodland was the only seamless part of this move, so THANK YOU!

Update 7/15: It’s an extremely poor business practice that I had to leave a 1-star review to get anyone to respond to this issue & now I’m expected to call them back again when they have my contact Info. I emailed & called on 6/14, 6/18, & 7/3 with no follow up, call back, or resolution. It was pushed up to “corporate” & discussed with some “VP” who had little to no interest in providing a solution or compensation since they gave me a $100 discount (which isn’t even half of my initial deposit) BEFORE they hit me with the $1000 overage & wasted my time. I’m curious what their hourly fee to me would’ve been if I was the cause of a day & a half delay.

Original: This move was nonstop mistakes. I confirmed everything with the office & the estimator at least 4 times (literally) before the day of the move on 6/11. I was firm about the dates of the move because I had to vacate & do a security walkthrough. I discussed this with the estimator to make sure I didn’t have to move earlier & that they could handle the long distance/multi-state move. I even called back a week later because I noticed the deposit never posted & I had their bookkeeping correct it. I also reconfirmed the correct date of 6/11 to make sure the deposit error didn’t result in me losing my spot. They assured me my original dates were secured for a packing & loading service & the move. The night before the move on 6/10, I receive a confirmation call that they will be there between 8-10 am. At 10:45 am on 6/11, the company is a no show. I call the office & they tell me that they have me on the books for 6/12. They assure me that they will correct it & send a team to pack & load everything on 6/12 by 1:30 & deliver it to the final destination on 6/13. I had them reconfirm this several times & rescheduled my inspection appointment with the apartment complex. A few hours after this call, I receive a follow up confirmation call to set me up for the next day as agreed, except this person is telling me that I’m getting bumped to the afternoon because their team “has another job.” This was also after multiple (3) confirmations that they would be able to pack & load on the 12th by 1:30.  After the first scheduling date mistake, I would have assumed that the office would have made sure the rest went smoothly.  I again had to be the one to remedy that error as I was explicit throughout this process that I needed to be out of the apartment by 6/12 at 1:30 the latest.  I was also assured they would come in the morning with a team of 4, but was sent 3. After the office confirmed multiple times that they could pack & load everything by 1:30 on the 12th, the team, that included 2 unexperienced workers, left at 5:30 which caused me to be unable to do a final walkthrough with my apartment management company. The fact that I had to be the one to suggest that they work with me on the costs the day of the final move is also ridiculous, & it didn’t even begin to cover the inconvenience. It didn’t even cover my 10% security deposit. I have lost a day & a half of my own personal time. Now the day after the move, I get a voicemail regarding the final set of charges that the weight was underestimated by almost double the original (I didn’t even have them move everything). I am now on the hook for $1000 over my original estimate based on the final balance. This is also after multiple instances of them saying “you have a small apartment & not that much stuff so it will probably come in under estimate.” They also charged my card for the final balance before I had a chance to review the new charges & without my authorization. I sent an email to the office on Friday 6/14 & left a verbal message with someone at the office expressing my dissatisfaction. I called back Tuesday 6/18 after receiving zero correspondence only for them to tell me that they sent this to their corporate office, & they don’t know who the person handling it is or when I will have an answer. They didn’t even seem to want to give me the corporate number nor did they seem like they were going to be following up at all.
