Hired Zip To Zip Moving company December 2023. First went to my office, moved my office furniture, took them 1/2 an hour, which was great, then went to my home. While working there, had dresser mirror resting against the door. While moving one employee bumped into it and broke it. To this date they will not pay for it. When they were at my house, movers said their tire pressure is low. Had compressor, gave them. took three men half an hour to put air in one tire. They shrink wrapped everything, did not use single blanket. Now we went to my new house. There they were asking me we can do this, for everything I told them I will do it. More I told them that I will do it slower they got to put hours in. Here they told me air pressure in the tire went down again. Gave them and they used the compressor twice. all three movers are standing and talking wasting time. It took them about 7 Hours to unload. While moving furniture, they broke my Paoli Inc solid wood desk. Refusing to pay for that. Now I noticed after they left, damage was done my dresser, quietly put it against wall without telling me. While it was dark outside, one of the movers had his arms around my wife. Did not want to make seen, in this delicate situation, did not say anything. Every time I called, they will ask me to send information. Every time gave them info, they said did not receive it. Sent them a letter of damages to their Kearny NJ address, Letter came back, said wrong address. It was the address on the papers I signed. After all this their attorney who is NY sends me email to deal with him only and not contact Zip To Zip. Moving company and their attorney refused to give their address to serve papers by the court. To this date, still not have address. Today I found another address in Tinton Falls NJ and mailing letter there. Remains to be seen what happens. Most unethical, deceitful and dishonest people.
