What a NIGHTMARE!
A week prior to moving my family out of state to Tennessee, I booked this company to deliver TWO 16 foot pods so we can pack all of our belongings. I had a great conversation with the lady setting up this order. Then, the day before the were supposed to deliver them, on Memorial Day, they called and said they refuse to deliver because my driveway is gated and they said their policy is to not deliver any equipment when there is a gate that can be locked. I advised that I would not lock the gate because, I never have before and, we NEED TO MOVE TO TN! Then I said I would remove the gate doors but she said I'd put them back on and lock it. CRAZY!!! Then, the customer service rep said she will have the terminal manager call me to discuss. This guy, Jason, our of Franklin, MA made every excuse in the book to NOT help us. He said they cannot drive on a single piece of grass, they need 55ft of space to off-load the pod and that there is no way to fit 2 pods at my house. He said he was looking at our place on Google Maps but couldn't really see clearly. I asked him to come look and we can discussed but he refused. A few hours later they called me and said they can still move my stuff if I bring all of my belongings to their location in Franklin, MA OR, they will deliver 1 pod at a time. I then asked about the 'locked gate' problem and they ignored their 'policy' and I asked about them driving on the grass, which would happen maneuvering their truck and they also ignored that 'policy'. Then they said if I cancel, it's my fault. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had dealing with a company. From one employee to the next, they had no idea what their 'policies' were and gave no effort to solve this problem, they clearly didn't want to do this move. Shame on them! As expected, I spent several hours trying to find a solution which was a massive waste of time and it ended up costing my family hundreds of dollars more to find another company. Zippy Shell...what a STUPID name! Screw this company!!
