Zippy Shell

Scheduling was relatively easy and that was about the extent of the pros so far. They were the only container moving company that goes to our remote moving locatoin.
After confirming the date of the first shell delivery, I tried for 2 days to get some kind of idea what time it would be delivered and never received a response. Email was never answered and hold time is ridiculous, with multiple blind transfers and hold periods.

The driver did call 20 minutes out and was very punctual and very professional.

The loading crew was also very punctual and professional in the actual loading of the furniture into the truck.

Thats where it ends -

I was told moving blankets were included. They were not.

The loading crew was nice enough to sell them to us for what they 'cost them' so we didnt have to reschedule or interrupt the 3 hours of time we had with them by running to the corner to get some - they charge us twice what premium blankets cost ($15 vs. $7.87 per)

So far since then, I've left 2 messages for our original coordinator, spent 30 minutes on hold this morning, was blind transferred twice and hung up on. The rest of our move is schedule for 8 weeks from now and I'm afraid I'm going to have to find someone else, pay extra for late scheduling, and there's no telling what else will go wrong with the container they've loaded so far. WE could have done it ourselves for less cost and hassle than its been so far.

The estimated delivery date is to the local warehouse. There were no available appointments for ~~A MONTH~~ to actually deliver to my door. Despite having a 'guaranteed' delivery date to the warehouse, you cannot schedule home delivery until it arrives at the warehouse.

I made numerous calls to their customer service, most of which ended poorly. A few of the things that happened on these calls: I was hung up on, I was lied to (said they would put a note in my file; future reps could not find any such note), laughed at for my troubles. Zippy Shell charged $75 for elevator use, but did not actually charge me until end of fiscal year. It's past my deadline for getting that reimbursed for moving from my job.

tl;dr find literally anyone else for a move.

Easy to do business with. Delivery and pick up was timely. No surprise additional costs. I would have preferred the trailer have been delivered swept out. My house items were being stored so I vacuumed the sand and swept the few leaves before storing anything. The trailer was definitely sturdy and did not leak.

Great company with the most reasonable price compared to other mobile storage companies in the area.
