Our movers showed up promptly, were very careful with our belongings and had everything moved into our apartment within the two hour window in which they were scheduled to come. They took extra care to rearrange furniture as instructed when we asked. They were easygoing, polite and made moving in a very efficient process.

Beware of this scammer company! For our cross-country move, we thought we'd save some hassle and expense and send a lot of stuff ahead of us, including thousands of books that have been in the family for over 125 years plus my professional library. Zippy Shell seemed like a good deal. But instead of delivering a shell to our house, they took our belongings away in a truck and packed the shell themselves. We thought this was strange until we saw the shell when it was delivered. It was a disaster--full of holes and literally held together with duct tape. Not only was everything all jumbled like they had just thrown it in there, on the journey it had rained, and the books, as well as clothing and bedding, were wet and moldy. It took us months of work and thousands of dollars to get things clean, but many of the books and much of the bedding was unsalvageable. The damages were well over the $10K claim limit. They initially offered us a settlement of $8.5K, then they dropped it down to $8K and haggled with us until we finally got $8,250. Zippy Shell knew exactly what they were doing when they didn't let us see the shell. I have never dealt with such a shady business in my life. I wish I had the energy to sue the crap out of them for the nightmare they put us through. If you care about your belongings and your sanity, avoid this disreputable company!
