My parents had to move from their home to an assisted living facility. We offered to do the the moving for them (to save them money), but my mother has a prized possession that she wanted moved professionally. That was her piano. She contacted Eckroth Music to ask for movers who she could trust with her piano. They gave her the name of Quality Pack & Load. My mom contacted them and made it crystal clear that of utmost importance to her was the piano they would be moving. A date was set for the move. On that date, they were surprised to find there was a piano to move and said they had the wrong truck to move it. Therefore they would have to arrange a 2nd pick-up date. My parents were undergoing a painful move and a change in life situation that would greatly strain them financially. This was a hard blow. Quality Pack & Load insisted on payment for the second move. The first move cost my parents $1043.50. The second move, necessary only because of the forgotten piano, was $643.00. I found that to be incredibly poor, first, because they arrived initially with the wrong truck when it was made abundantly clear that they had a piano to pick up; and second, when they charged $643.00 for the later pick-up. The move itself they did professionally; but I cannot recommend these movers to others on the basis of our experience.
Good place to work. Prices aren't the cheapest but not the most expensive. They believe in quality work for quality prices. Family owned business who really cares about the employees and customers. Owners, management, office workers are all exceptional people with good customer service skills and do their best to do whatever they have to in order to make people satisfied.
Robert Hatcher was our mover and he was an extremely good guy. They communicated effectively and were always on time. We were on a tight timeline and they worked with us, and did a a great job. Highly recommend them
It is not a place to ship standard freight with. Steel plates, concrete, steel beams, rocks would be ok. If the freight is surrounded by 1/2" plate steel maybe. If they destroy something in shipping, if its used, the pay. 30 on the pound. Good thing the last person I talked too before warned me.
